Let us see what is the step by step procedure of Load Change ,Tariff Change and Meter Shifting in KSEB . An application regarding a service connection e.g. revising connected load, phase conversion, tariff change, billing disputes etc. will normally be processed only if the registered consumer is the applicant.Also , ensure thatall the electrical installations are done by a licensed Electrical Contractor.
1.Meter Shifting ,Tariff Change and Load Change
If you are re-build your house or complex(for Construction Purpose)you have to apply for these three.Also after the completion of works you need to do the procedures once again.
At first you must make the arrangements to shift the meter to a safe place with the help of a licensed contractor .In this regard, proper Earthing and Protection of Metering Equipment and other Saftety measures like E.L.C.B/R.C.C.B are very essential.
For the Tariff change ,the consumer premises must the requirements of proposed Tariff.
The load calculation should match with the existing installations.Incorrect load may lead to penal bills later.

Fees and ACD(Including GST(18%)).
1.Application Fee-Rs.58/-
2.Meter Shifting Fee-Rs.1073/-(Single Phase)
3.ACD-Rs.300/- for 1000 Watts (Domestic).
If your existing CD is Rs.850 and you need to enhance your connected load from 2000 watts to 4500 watts, then you have to pay Rs.650 as ACD.
Other Purposes and required CD per 1000 watts.
