In this article, let's know about revised KSEB ECSC (Estimate Cost for Service Connection ) rates w.e.f 08.02.2024.There is no change in CD(Cash Deposit) rates and Application Fees.
Case1
If the consumer needs a Weather Proof Support (WPS)i.e, a bare post without (Now 8 meter PSC poles are provided ), cross arms and insulators.
Then
ECSC=₹7547
G.S.T(18%)=₹1358.46
Total=₹8905
You have to add Normal Service Connection (WP) charges with this.
1.₹2258 (Single Phase )
2.₹5478(There Phase )
So Total ECSC=₹8905+₹2258=₹11163
(Single Phase ).
This will applicable in all the following cases.
Case 2
If the consumer has to construct a single phase 2 wire line with length less than 50 meters.
Here the basic ECSC rate-₹10076
In addition to this ₹88 per meter.
Suppose the length of New OH line -35 meters
Then total cost is calculated as follows :
10076+88*35=₹13156
G.S.T -18%=₹2368
Total =₹15524
Case 3
Also, if the way of line is not straight, an additional post is needed, then it's treated as post insertion in single phase line.
This can be done in existing line also for taking service connection.
The basic rates as follows, you have to pay GST(18%)) in addition to the amount shown here.
Pole insertion with stay-₹11706
Pole insertion without stay-₹8563
Case 4
If the consumer has to construct a single phase 2 wire line with length more than 50 meters and less than 100 meters, with two posts.
Here the basic ECSC rate=₹24233
In addition to this ₹88 per meter for length above 50 meters .
Suppose the length of OH line =70(40+30) meters
Then total cost is calculated as follows :
24233+88*20=₹25993
G.S.T-18%=₹4679
Total =₹30672
The following are some common services in OH connection and their basic rates as per KSEB Cost Data, you have to pay GST(18%) in addition to the amount shown here.You can calculate charges for any type of construction, but the amount may differ due to changes in material estimate.
1.Pole insertion in single phase line with strut-₹17257
2.Pole insertion in three phase line with stay -₹12508.
3.Pole insertion in three phase line without stay -₹9365.
